The combination of two award-winning document imaging products puts greater functionality than ever before at the touch of a button. Eastman Kodak Company today announced that the KODAK Scan Station 100 will now be offered with Notable Solutions, Inc.’s (NSi) Distributed Capture Workflow Software, AutoStore Embedded Client.

AutoStore’s Embedded Scanning Client for the KODAK Scan Station was announced at the 2007 AIIM ON DEMAND Conference & Exposition in Boston.

An office walkup network device, the Scan Station 100 quickly and easily turns paper documents into digital files with a single touch for simultaneous sharing via e-mail, storing on the network, routing to networked printers and copiers, and saving on portable USB drives—all without using a computer. And, with the integration of NSI’s AutoStore, compatibility with numerous business applications, databases and document management systems is just a click away.

“The additional capabilities that this integration will provide makes using the Scan Station 100 even quicker and easier across a broader range of applications,” said Roger Markham, Product Marketing Manager for Distributed Capture Products, US&C, Document Imaging, Graphic Communications Group, Eastman Kodak Company. “It also is a powerful example of the very kind of customization that we have envisioned for this product all along.”

NSi’s award-winning Distributed Content Capture Workflow platform AutoStore, provides customers with a proven, rules-based capture workflow solution for capturing, processing and routing content to a wide variety of business applications, databases and document management systems. AutoStore is a 2006 BERTL’s Best winner for workflow management and the Scan Station 100 has earned a BERTL Highly Recommended Four-Star rating in the organization’s testing.

As a full client of AutoStore, the Scan Station 100 can completely leverage AutoStore’s document processing features including OCR, ICR, barcode recognition, watermarking and encryption, as well as advanced forms recognition for areas such as accounts payable processing.
