Liv Lugara’s “The Year of the Frenchie” Will Share a Fur Parent’s Story at the 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest
The author shares the challenges of being a new fur parent and her self-educating journey to successfully integrate a pet dog into the family’s routine.
The self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet will exhibit Liv Lugara’s “The Year of the Frenchie: A Very Recent Memoir” at the 2024 Printers Row Lit Fest. The book festival will take place this September 7-8, 2024, at Printers Row Park, 620 S Dearborn St (Ida B Wells & Polk), Chicago, Illinois.
Presented by the not-for-profit Near South Planning Board, the Printers Row Lit Fest is the largest free outdoor literary event in the Midwest. This two-day open-air festival draws over a crowd of 100,000 and is also attended by 100-plus booksellers displaying different types and genres of books and 200-plus authors participating in panels, discussions, and a variety of other programs. This community-based celebration for book lovers provides authors and publishing companies with an opportunity to showcase their works and products to a wide and diverse audience.
The book “The Year of the Frenchie” follows an unexperienced pet guardian in her trials and tribulations taking care of a newly adopted puppy, candidly sharing the author’s insights into the life-changing challenge of caring for a family member from another species. This book aims at helping readers and pet parents-to-be as it defies the “what ifs” that may often hinder a family’s decision to adopt a pet and that could have affected the author’s own decision of bringing home an eight-week-old French Bulldog puppy.
Visitors to the Printers Row Lit Fest 2024 can find “The Year of the Frenchie” displayed at the ReadersMagnet exhibit. ReadersMagnet is committed to helping established and emerging authors share their stories with the world.
