Sweet Christian Lullaby Poem by Teresa Haven Pelinski Slated for Exhibit at the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2024

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books doesn’t just invite vast crowds. It invites an almost dizzying lineup of different authors, each eager to share their stories and the love they had in writing them. It’s certainly the motive of Teresa Haven Pelinski, an author of several Christian children’s books. For this year’s festival, she’ll be showcasing “Jensen’s Lullaby,” a sweet poetic song that she originally wrote for her daughter a week before she was born.

To my little angel sent from above to bless me, her mother, with all her love.

True to its name, the L.A. Times Festival of Books is a time for celebrating all sorts of stories big or small. It’s why visitors will find hundreds, if not thousands, of books by authors who just have something they want to share with the rest of the world.

A great example is Christian children’s book author Teresa Haven Pelinski. To date, she has published a few religious stories but among her more recent works is something far more personal.

Its title is “Jensen’s Lullaby,” a song in book form that she had originally written a week before the birth of her only biological daughter Jensen. While she was also blessed to have four stepchildren, the feelings of joy she wanted to convey as a birth mother simply had to be expressed.

It starts with her telling baby Jensen that she’s a little angel sent by God. Yet as it goes on, it also starts talking about her future and what it will be like to look back on this moment.

Overall, “Jensen’s Lullaby” is a very heartfelt, poetic work that could appeal to anyone looking for a quick, touching read about motherly affections. The book is just one small part of Pelinski’s personal ministry as a prayer warrior who uses visits, prayers, and songs for those needing encouragement in their lives.

Visitors to the L.A. Times Festival of Books 2024 can check out the display for “Jensen’s Lullaby” by Teresa Haven Pelinski at the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet’s exhibit at booth #225. The festival will be held on April 20-21, 2024, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA. Get a copy of the book on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and ReadersMagnet Bookstore.
