Women in Sales recognised by the World Economic Forum

HEINEKEN has been selected by the World Economic Forum as Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Lighthouse for the Women in Sales initiative.


Our Women in Sales programme is dedicated to attracting, retaining and developing women in Sales while fostering an inclusive environment. 

As a result of our collective efforts, the percentage of female senior managers in Sales globally grew from 9% in 2020 to 19% in 2022. Our ambition is to increase this number to 25% by 2025, in our path to gender balance.

According to the World Economic Forum website, “The insight report from WEF provides an overview of the latest trends and emerging best practices in fostering diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in organizations worldwide. It highlights the importance of DEI both from a values and economic perspective and showcases “Lighthouse” initiatives that are leading the way as impactful DEI practices.”

While we acknowledge that there is still progress to be made, we celebrate the positive steps we are taking along this journey. This is a recognition that can make us feel very proud and inspires us to continue advancing this agenda together.
