Great Wolf Resorts Celebrates 10 Years with Brand Wolf Birthday

MADISON, Wis. - Grab Your Towel… It’s Time to Howl!

Great Wolf Resorts is honoring families with a special Brand Wolf Birthday rate from May 10 – June 10, 2007 and each family staying during Brand Wolf Birthday will receive an exclusive celebration amenity.

Great Wolf Lodge’s mascots, Wiley the Wolf, Biko the Bear and Rowdy the Reindeer, will be on-site for a meet-and-greet with children and photo opportunities. Brand Wolf Birthday events will include: Cub Club Birthday Decorating Activities, Face Painting, Mini-Makeup and Polish Application in the Spa, Arcade Tournaments, Wiley’s Surprise Birthday Breakfast, Wiley’s Birthday Cake Decorating, Biko’s Pajama Party and Duck Race, and a customized story time with the book Wiley’s Birthday Surprise.

Wolf Sightings

Expected to make its howling debut later this year will be Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, Texas. Grand Mound, Wash. is the site of the next family indoor waterpark resort expected to open in early 2008. Each will be the first indoor waterpark resort of its scope in each respective region.

“Indoor waterpark resorts are just coming out of their infancy stage,” Emery said. “We’re taking what we’ve learned over the past 10 years to develop future resorts and to enhance our existing ones.”

Some of those new enhancements may include the latest waterpark technologies such as an extreme funnel tube ride and water roller coaster; MagiQuest®, a live-action fantasy adventure, where guests are part of the three-dimensional interactive game; upscale miniature golf course; and teen focused amenities and activities.
