AB InBev Announces New Appointment to Senior Leadership Team

AB InBev today announced a new appointment to the Senior Leadership Team, and a change to the SLT structure designed to elevate the focus on Communications.

Donna Lorenson will be AB InBev Chief Communications Officer, reporting to AB InBev CEO Michel Doukeris and becoming part of the Senior Leadership Team. Donna is a seasoned leader with more than 23 years of experience in strategic communications, crisis management, media relations and change management. She has worked in large, highly regulated, and complex Fortune 500 companies that operate multiple brands across geographies. Donna’s appointment will be effective November 13, 2023.

She joins AB InBev from her position as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Kenvue – a Johnson & Johnson spinoff whose brands include Tylenol®, Neutrogena®, Listerine® and BAND-AID® Brand Adhesive Bandages. She was with J&J for eight years and before that she worked at Alcon and spent nearly a decade at Edelman. Donna is also a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army where she was stationed in Germany. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Idaho.

John Blood continues as AB InBev Chief Legal and Corporate Affairs Officer and Corporate Secretary, reporting to AB InBev CEO Michel Doukeris. He will continue to work in close collaboration with the Communications team, which he has led for many years. Our corporate and legal affairs agenda is ambitious, and we look forward to the focus this structure will allow on our smart drinking goals, government and regulatory affairs and our engagements with our communities around the world.
