ReadersMagnet will display Richard Pryor’s “Earth’s Rubicon” at the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair.

The book by science fiction author Richard Pryor, Earth’s Rubicon, will be showcased at the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair. The book fair will occur from November 25 to December 3, 2023, at the Expo Guadalajara Convention Center, Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The Guadalajara International Book Fair is a huge and important celebration of written literature in the Spanish-speaking world in the Americas. It is the second-largest book fair after Germany’s Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse). The annual event, also known as the Feria Internacíonal del Libro de Guadalajara, is organized and hosted by the University of Guadalajara.

Richard Pryor’s Earth’s Rubicon is a glimpse into the author’s fictional universe. It follows the members of the High Council of Sentients, extraterrestrial beings known as the Gray Elders, reassessing planet Earth and everything that is happening in it. Each Elder is tasked to explore, develop, and maintain a full quadrant of the known universe through peace, understanding, and enlightenment among all its life forms.

Observing the current status of Earth, the Elders of the High Council are in so much tension since Earth lacks three important key points in order for the council’s plan to proceed: First, the Earth does not have a “one-world governance” structure capable of speaking to it with one voice. Second, its people do not fully embrace Artificial Intelligence. Finally, mankind ignores many planetary problems.

The Gray Elders have to enlist the aid of a “maverick” ambassador to take charge of resolving the issues of the planet. First, select and install a new seven-member continental world government. Second, boost mankind’s level of intelligence. Finally, have the Earth’s newly “unelected” government enact a series of decisive protocols to take bold action and heal Earth before it’s too late.

Earth’s Rubicon will be displayed by the self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet. Visitors to the 2023 Guadalajara International Book Fair should visit the company’s exhibit at booth GG38 to check out the book’s display.
