From Briefcase to Diaper Bag total 180! Becomes The First Reality-Based Magazine for the Professional Woman Turned Stay-At-Home Mom


Rocklin, CA (June 28, 2005) – Girlfriend Media Group announced today the launch of total 180!, the first magazine for a growing, overlooked, demographic: the professional woman turned stay-at-home mom.

Premiering in November, 2005, total 180! will be the only magazine to target the more than 6 million* women who have left their full-time careers to raise their children (*according to the 2003 census). total 180! will cover the former career women’s new stay-at-home mom roles, identity shifts, relationships, financial situations and mental and emotional needs – all in a voice and style unlike any other women’s magazine.

Our goal with this magazine is to create the same female-bonding phenomenon that Sex in the City and Desperate Housewives brought to TV.”

total 180!’s founders, Debbie Klett, Kristie Zamboanga, Andrea Bandle, and Sheri Heuer conceived the idea over coffee in November, 2004. The foursome, all former career women turned stay-at-home moms, met while working part-time for a local magazine.
