Seagate Brings Data Recovery Services Closer to Customers in Korea
Seagate Technology (NYSE: STX) today announced a relationship with PC Direct, Inc. and Daewon Computer, Inc. to provide professional data recovery services to customers in Korea through their respective extensive networks in the country.
The announcement is part of Seagate’s ongoing expansion of its global data recovery services operations and represents the company’s commitment to provide optimum service to customers around the world.
"Corporations and consumers are increasingly placing a premium on the value of digital content they’ve created for work and play, and they cannot afford the risk of losing digital data that has become such an integral part of them" said Kevin Lee, Seagate’s channels managing director for Asia Pacific. "Seagate understands this and our data recovery services is the last line of defense against data loss even for large corporations with the best planned disaster recovery implementation"
Seagate’s groundbreaking software solutions and in-lab recovery services employ a patented SignalTrace(tm) technology that will enable its service partners’ engineers to recover data from media - regardless of brands or formats - that has undergone severe physical damage, liquid damage, fire damage, software corruption, system sabotage or accidental file deletion.
Seagate’s SignalTrace technology is drive-independent and allows for data recovery from media that cannot be addressed by traditional in-lab recovery methods.
PC Direct and Daewon will honor and maintain agreed service levels, are committed to data quality and customer confidentiality; and will adhere to the ISO 9001:2000 when providing data recovery services.
Details on the data recovery service are available at PC Direct, Inc. (tel. 02-1600-5972) and Daewon Computer, Inc. (tel. 02-2004-7780~1).
