“A New Dawn” by Reginald Andah follows the story of Xander Williams, a soldier-in-training in the remnants of the current military. In Reginald’s novel, the world is trapped amid a conflict that has lasted more than ten years. He emerges from cryostasis to discover a new world after several months. As he learns about the contemporary reality that has befallen him, survivors who have been forced to fight reside on spaceships since Earth has become a war zone inhabited by evil entities. These forces are dedicated to the eradication of life.

The light of humanity is gone, and their faith is tried as never before. Everyone’s memories, serving as the last connections to the world they ever knew, are vague, including Xander’s. Xander cares about Leona, the woman who gives him hope and strength to live. As humanity’s memory returns and becomes more apparent, the history of war slowly unveils itself. Does everyone and everything are who and what they should be? Readers will discover the answers to these questions as they read Reginald Andah’s action-packed novel.

Author
Reginald Andah was born and raised in Houston, Texas. At a young age, he had a creative mind and an interest in learning. Both attributes allowed him to obtain a Bachelor of Arts in English from Texas State University. However, his accomplishment and others could not have come to fruition without faith. Growing up in a low-income household with his mother eventually landed them on the streets. His uncle frequently assisted with his mom’s financial difficulties.

He excelled academically, moving from district to district made him isolated and an easy target for being victimized as the new student in his classes. Though times were hard, his faith allowed him to persevere and make his own life. Independence was gained through adversity. He kept his family by procuring his job while going to school. Though he always had a passion for creating, he never considered potentially making it a career goal. When he graduated from high school and took college courses dedicated to writing, he realized his drive for storytelling. Ever since, he has been inspired to create stories with morals centered on his faith in God.
