The historical fiction/fantasy book “Storm Front: Book One of the Stormsong Trilogy” by Stephen A. “Storm Front” is the first book of the “Stormsong” Trilogy. The story takes place in Central Europe in 1618, as the Thirty Years’ War is just getting started. The story centers on two beautiful ladies who couldn’t be more different from one another: the wealthy Lady Atlantis Vanessa von Stormsong and the poor orphan Šarlatová.
The once-great Holy Roman Empire has fallen on hard times, just like the rest of Europe, and is now deeply divided between Catholics and Protestants, princes and monarchs, and the rich and the poor, all of them warring against each other.
Europe is on the brink of a catastrophic war, and the upcoming conflict will undoubtedly involve Lady Atlantis Vanessa von Stormsong and Šarlatová. Although they share a deep faith in the same God, these two strangers are doomed to fall into the same trap as they seek harmony in a world dominated by powerful and violent men.
