San Diego, CA – WEBWIRE

“The turquoise sky draws a blank on clouds, & every last tree, I see went up in green leaves overnight, destined though it is to alchemize into gold & melt down, reverting to lead in six months, its half-life accomplished.”

Randy Blasing’s poetry book True Story: Poems will be exhibited by self-publishing and book marketing company ReadersMagnet at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festival of Books. This amazing literary festival will occur on April 22-23, 202, at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.

The L.A. Times Festival of Books is a yearly outdoor literary event in the heart of California, attracting approximately 150,000 attendees. ReadersMagnet will be exhibiting at the event for the third time. To encourage visitors to their exhibit and make their third exhibit more memorable, the company will not only set up a larger booth but also provide more exciting activities and display more books.

True Story is a poetry book that contains twenty sonnets, driven by the unrhymed, five-beats-per-measure line similar to Shakespeare’s style. This book tells the author’s true life experiences, including how he survived COVID by taking long, daily walks in the state park in his backyard in the form of creative poems.

Randy plots his stories along the trajectory of his life, from his memories of growing up in the Midwest to his experience of living in New England and visiting the Southwest and the Mideast. He creatively takes the readers on a trip down memory lane through his witty poems. Readers will definitely have a fun time reading this poetry book.

Anyone who wants to read Randy Blasing’s True Story: Poems can purchase a copy of the book on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Make sure to check out the book’s display at the ReadersMagnet exhibit at booth #225 at the 2023 Los Angeles Times Festivals of Books.
