Tim Siggia’s Book was Featured at the New York Library Association 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show

“The Twilight Tour” by Tim Siggia was displayed at the New York Library Association 2022 Annual Conference and Trade Show on November 3 - 4, 2022, at Saratoga Springs City Center at 522 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866. Publishers, librarians, writers, and book lovers across the globe attended the event.

The story revolves around Marion Charles “Pop” Riley a Navy officer. Served in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Towards the end of his nearly three-decade Navy career, he goes to the Naval Air Station in Brunswick, Maine, for an official Twilight Tour.

Pop Riley is hailed as a legend among his peers, yet, his life is far from rainbows and butterflies. He is divorced from his wife and estranged from his only son. He sees his impending retirement as a threat to his well-being. Pop is also dealing with a drinking problem that has progressed beyond normal. Despite this, He yet manages to touch the lives of several friends, even in ways he is not aware. Marion Charles “Pop” Riley’s story will demonstrate to readers that being on a Twilight Tour is not the end of a fascinating journey.

Author Bio
Timothy M. Siggia, better known as Tim, was born on February 3, 1945, in Hartford, Connecticut. He grew up in East Hartford and attended what was then known as Central Connecticut State College, intending to teach English after graduation. He dropped out of college and enlisted in the United States Navy in 1967, leaving for recruit training in Great Lakes, Illinois.

Tim advanced from Seaman Recruit to Radioman Second Class, paygrade E-5. In 1981, he earned a lateral conversion of ratings from Radioman First Class to Journalist First Class, both paygrade E-6.

Tim retired from the Navy in March of 1991 with a service record that included service aboard six Navy ships and a roughly equal number of shore states. He is a member of the American Legion Post 77, American Veterans (AMVETS) Post 18, Vietnam Veterans of America Connecticut Chapter 120, the Fleet Reserve Association, and the Navy League of the United States.
