Tim Hortons adds new Steak and Egg Breakfast Sandwich to menu, featuring slow-cooked 100% Canadian seasoned beef

A pillar of the Tim Hortons sustainability platform Tims For Good is a focus on serving meals with ingredients that guests can feel good about.

The new Tim Hortons Steak and Egg Breakfast Sandwich features 100 per cent Canadian seasoned beef that is free of artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is sourced right here at home.

Tim Hortons is proud to partner with Canada Beef and support a community of over 60,000 Canadian beef farming and ranching families who raise the beef we serve to our guests from coast to coast to coast.

“As part of Tims For Good, we are committed to local sourcing of other key ingredients domestically as much as possible. In Canada, our milk, cream, butter, cheese, eggs, and potatoes for our hash browns and wedges are sourced from Canadian farmers and suppliers,” said Paul Yang, Senior Director of Innovation and Sustainability for Tim Hortons.

“Supporting Canadian farmers and food producers is something that’s really important to us at Tim Hortons, and we know it’s important to our guests too.”

In addition to our sourcing of 100 per cent Canadian seasoned beef that is free of artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, Tim Hortons biscuits and butter croissants are also examples of menu items that have already been reimagined by the culinary team without artificial  colours, flavours or preservatives.
