New Species Findings Discovered by EMSL Scientists

EMSL’s scientists, Dr. Željko Jurjevic and Dr. Sergey Balashov, with colleague, Dr. Vit Hubka from the Czech Republic, recently discovered a new species, Neophaeococcomyces oklahomaensis, from an outside wall of an alcohol distillery. They also moved one species, Exophilia placitae, to another genus, Neophaeococcomyces placitae.
