After a nationwide audition process, nine lucky girls were chosen to compete for the chance of becoming the newest member of the popular group, The Pussycat Dolls, whose hits include “Don’t Cha,” “Stickwitu” and “Buttons”. While sharing a loft in the fashion district of L.A., the girls will compete in a series of themed challenges that will test their vocals, dancing skills, confidence, style and creativity. From designing an original Pussycat Dolls-style outfit to dancing with a male partner, the series will chronicle the nine hopefuls as they vie for the covenant position and receive advice from present members Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Kimberly Wyatt, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton.

The series is hosted by former Sugar Ray lead singer and “Extra” Co-Host Mark McGrath. Judges are Grammy-Winning Rapper Lil’ Kim, Group Founder and Choreographer, Robin Antin and Chairman of Geffen Records, Ron Fair. The winner of the series will be heard on the next Pussycat Dolls album and perform with the group on tour.

Founded in 1993 by Antin, The Pussycat Dolls was initially a creative outlet for her and fellow dancers. Eventually, the gatherings grew into a formal burlesque-style show at L.A.’s famed nightclub, The Viper Room, boasting celebrity guest performers like Gwen Stefani, Charlize Theron, Carmen Electra, Brittany Murphy, Paris Hilton and Pamela Anderson. In 2005, their debut album “PCD” was released, selling over five million albums worldwide and producing five hit singles.
