‘Leaner and Meaner’ Suite Satisfies Security, Usability Needs of Wide Range of Users

CUPERTINO, Calif. – Jan. 24, 2007 – Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced that Norton Internet Security 2007 was named Editors’ Choice by LAPTOP Magazine. According to the February 2007 issue of LAPTOP, Norton Internet Security 2007 not only offers comprehensive protection against Internet threats but it is now “among the sleekest and most user-friendly protection suites around.”
