On 12 July, Finest and Rarest Wines and Spirits auction totaled HK$42,076,250/US$5,455,374, with 99.3% sold by lot and 99.6% sold by value. The crowded saleroom attracted heated bidding from wine ethusiasts from 10 countries across 3 continents via all sale channels, with 28% of buyers from Christie’s LiveTM.

  -  Large formats wines such as both DRC Romanée-Conti 1990 and La Tâche 1995 in jeroboam, and Mouton 2000 in imperial warmly received by Asian buyers
  -  Almost all Scottish and Japanese Single-Malt Whiskies found buyers, with the sale total for the group achieveing 154% over its pre-auction low estimate
  -  The auction debut of Juyondai premium sake 100% sold, with the sale total realising 168% over its pre-sale low estimate
