Hiball, the premium, natural, energy seltzer, has donated more than 135,000 cans of product to provide much-needed energy to the healthcare workers on the frontlines of the COVID-19 health crisis.

“Our healthcare workers are working tirelessly day after day to protect the safety of our friends, neighbors, and communities,” said Joao Chueiri, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Beyond Beer at Anheuser-Busch. “By donating our Energy Seltzer to doctors, nurses and the many other individuals working long hours at our hospitals, we hope to provide some good energy to those who need it and remind them they are not alone in this fight.”

Launched on social media last month, the initiative sparked requests for energy from healthcare professionals from coast to coast. To date, Hiball has provided 135,000 cans of Energy Seltzer to more than 100 hospitals across 18 states including California, Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Texas.

Through a new partnership with Healthcare IQ, an independent healthcare data management and analytics company, Hiball plans scale the program and donate additional product where it’s needed most to hospitals across the country.

“Healthcare IQ is moved and inspired by the compassionate care hospitals continue to give during this unprecedented health crisis. As their long-time analytics partner, it is a privilege to help hospitals transform their data into actionable insights, supporting efforts to reduce costs, cut waste, and improve operations,” said a Healthcare IQ spokesperson. “We are grateful to support Anheuser-Busch’s Hiball Energy Seltzer, as they continue to donate thousands of drinks to caregivers on the frontline. Thank you for all you’ve done and continue to do.”
