Hopkinton, Mass.-Thursday, December 21, 2006, EMC Corporation, the world leader in information management and storage, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the “Leaders” quadrant in the “Magic Quadrant for Midrange Enterprise Disk Arrays, 2H06”(1) report.

EMC addresses this market with the EMC® CLARiiON® and EMC Celerra® families of networked storage systems, both of which are based on the new EMC UltraScale™ architecture with end-to-end 4Gb/s Fibre Channel technology coupled with comprehensive protection and management software.
