The award ceremony was part of the two-day Digital Entertainment, Media + Marketing Expo, hosted by Billboard® Magazine, Adweek, Brandweek, Mediaweek, and The Hollywood Reporter.

Motorola iRadio was recognized by an esteemed panel of judges from the entertainment and digital media industries. The service awarded “Best Radio Service (digital, Internet, satellite or other format) with respect to variety, innovation, and user experience.” Other finalists in this category included SIRIUS Satellite Radio and Yahoo!® Music.
