MOTO RED Ambassador Shaun White helps encourage people to make the right call to help fight AIDS in Africa

LIBERTYVILLE, Ill. - 29 November 2006 – Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced gold medalist and professional snowboarder Shaun White is the newest ambassador for MOTO RED. In this new role, Shaun will spread the word about Motorola teaming-up with (PRODUCT) RED and the mobile device company’s efforts to help fight AIDS in Africa.

From snowboarding slopes to video games, Shaun helps inspire a new generation of sports enthusiasts, young people and others to achieve their dreams. As a global ambassador for MOTO RED, Shaun will help spread RED by building awareness for the MOTO RED product line that is designed to help eliminate AIDS in Africa.

“This is an opportunity for our generation to truly make a difference and change the world,” said Shaun White. “If ten red MOTORAZR’s are sold that will pay for one year of ARV medication for one woman or child affected with AIDS. It’s awesome that buying something cool can give back so much to people in need.”

“Shaun White is a sports hero and a role model for many across America,” said Ron Garriques, president, Mobile Devices, Motorola, Inc. “Motorola is proud to have Shaun as an ambassador for MOTO RED. He has genuine belief in the initiative and he wants to make a big difference.”

From San Diego, California, Shaun White is most famous for his gold medal from the 2006 Turin Games. He is also a six-time gold medalist and three-time silver medalist at the X Games, the star of The White Album – a snowboarding and skateboarding movie, a clothing designer in association with Burton and the star of an upcoming Ubisoft snowboarding video game.
