PBX Gateway for Skype Singled Out at VoIP Event

SUNNYVALE, CA (November 14, 2006) - Actiontec Electronics announced today that VoSKY Exchange, a plug-and-play PBX gateway that enables businesses to use their standard office phones to make and receive free and low-cost VoIP calls over the Skype network, has been named a winner of a “Best of Show Award” at Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC®)’s INTERNET TELEPHONY Conference and EXPO West 2006. VoSKY Exchange adds up to eight outgoing Skype lines to the office PBX without changes to existing PBX equipment, phones or user PCs. It is designed for businesses with 10 to 300 employees, can be installed in two hours, and routes Skype calls over standard office phones, eliminating the need to use a PC and headset. Multiple Exchange boxes can be set up in company offices in different cities to enable free calls between colleagues and to accept calls from remote employees at no charge.
