Agfa Graphics Previews Brand Protection Software at Emballage


Demonstrates Next-generation Security and Anti-counterfeit Features for Use by Package Printers.

Mortsel, Belgium, November 2, 2006, Agfa Graphics today announced that it will preview new brand protection software at the Emballage World Packaging Exhibition in Paris, France, 20-24 November 2006. Drawing on Agfa patents and expertise in high-end security software with the :Fortuna solution, which protects 75% of the world’s banknotes, the company plans to bring security software that plugs into standard packaging design packages. Using the new solution, printed packages will include design features that make imitations recognisable as such to combat counterfeit printing.
