Mika Michaelis joins MANCOM as President, Craft Business Unit

We are excited to announce a few important changes to our leadership. After four years leading The High End/Craft BU, Felipe Szpigelhas decided to leave his current position in order to start up a new drinks venture in the Beyond Beer space. Marcelo “Mika” Michaelis, VP Sales for Region 7 (California, Nevada, Arizona), will be stepping into the role and joining MANCOM. The changes will be effective January 2019.

Our craft portfolio has enjoyed burgeoning success under Felipe’s guidance, and continues to outpace the craft industry. Felipe is now onto his next challenge, and we couldn’t be more proud and supportive of his new dream.

Mika has been with ABI for the last 16 years. In that time, he has garnered experience across trade marketing, revenue management, sales and marketing. He has been working in the US for the last four years, most recently as a Sales Region Vice President, West Coast. Mika will be relocating to New York in the coming weeks along with his wife, Renata, and daughter Rafaela.
