Grandpa’s Stories by Ronald Shank Restores Relativity

A compilation of short stories for kids and grandkids

Miami, FL – WEBWIRE

What a best way to tell a story that others may connect to is when you are “grandchildren-inspired”. Author Ronald Shank’s Grandpa’s Stories will hit the shelves at the Frankfurt Buchmese on October 10-14, 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany.

Ronald Shank’s Grandpa’s Stories is a compilation of stories for children. His inspiration to write the book were his grandchildren. Realizing he wants to teach the moral of his stories to other children, he decided to publish the book for parents and grandparents to read them to their children and grandchildren and thereby teach them a timeless lesson. “I recommend using funny voices and lots of emphasis,” Shank stated. “And maybe a tickle or two at just the right moment to add flavor and a garnish to each story.”

Visit the fair and don’t miss the chance to read the life-changing short stories of Ronal Shank. Grandpa’s Stories is available for online purchase: AuthorHouse.com.

About the Author
Ronald Shank has been writing off and on for 50 years. He started with poetry—some rhyming, most not; some long, some short; some humorous, others sad, but always very simple. He moved on to articles and newsletters and eventually into short stories. He has always found it enjoyable to write, just not always convenient. Even now with work and their little farm and church, it keeps him very busy and it’s hard to find the time to write.

He lives in Gray Court South Carolina, on a small farm, they call Bumble Bee farm, because they live on Bumble Bee Lane. It’s actually their driveway, since they are the only ones on Bumble Bee Lane. He has lived in a number of places over the years, from New England to Florida, to the mid-West, to North Carolina, and, finally, to South Carolina.

He held many and varied jobs over the years as well as a short tour of duty in the Air Force in the late sixties, where he was stationed in Maine, Labrador, and New Mexico. He found the Lord back in 1995 and that is when he really started to write seriously. First Christmas Stories, evidenced by my book “Holiday Stories Volume 1”, and then he start to write Easter and Thanksgiving stories, evidenced by my book “Holiday Stories Volume 2". Thereafter, he started to write little stories for the grandchildren, especially for their birthdays. He wanted it to be something they would have and could enjoy even when they got older, possibly reading to their children and grandchildren someday. He looks forward to writing a novel someday in the not-too-distant future (most likely after he retires), but for now, short stories seem to suit him best.
