NEW YORK, October 26, 2006 – As a part of Delta Air Lines’ ongoing commitment to the Latin community in the United States and throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, the world’s fastest growing international airline has announced that it will sponsor for the first time the seventh annual Latin GRAMMY® Awards which this year will be held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 2, 2006.

In order to accommodate Hispanic travelers’ needs, Delta offers more than 495 convenient flights to 47 destinations in 26 Latin American and Caribbean countries. Additionally, Delta now allows Hispanic travelers to pilot through Delta’s Web site in Spanish to conveniently make online reservations, select seating assignments, check-in and manage their SkyMiles®. Delta will also introduce Spanish-language self-service check-in kiosks early next year.
