Children’s author Roslyn C. Thorpe looks forward to the NEA EXPO 2018

The author of two children’s books will sign autographs at the biggest gathering of educational leaders in America.

The author, who is also a teacher, will sign author at the expo designed for teachers and other education leaders.

Roslyn C. Thorpe, the author of “RayRay’s Amazing Dream: An Adventurous Week” and “Danny The New Kid in School,” has confirmed her attendance for the National Education Association (NEA) Expo 2018. The education convention will kick off on June 30 and run through July 1 at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
 
The NEA EXPO is the biggest gathering of educational leaders in America. Elected delegates from all US states and territories will attend the event. More than a quarter of delegates are teachers while the rest are former educators or education support staff.
 
Exhibitors and professionals, including authors, are invited to exhibit at NEA EXPO 2018. This event will give them the opportunity to showcase their family-oriented products and services to the convention attendees and other guests.
 
Thorpe, whose book “RayRay’s Amazing Dream” will be exhibited at the expo, is one of the authors who will have an autographing session. Her session is scheduled on June 30,2018.

About the Author
 
Roslyn Thorpe was born in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, in the West Indies and is fourth in a family of twelve. Her first job was that of an elementary school teacher. She also worked as a librarian, legal secretary and interim pastor. She migrated to the US in 1987 and worked as an early childhood teacher for nine years. Roslyn obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the college of New Rochelle and her Master’s degree in special Education at the Brooklyn College – The City University of New York. She also completed studies in Administration and Supervision in Education at the Brooklyn College. Roslyn is currently employed by the New York City Board of Education as a teacher.
