BAKE Cheese Tart to Open First U.S. Store in San Francisco

BAKE USA, Inc. announced today that BAKE Cheese Tart Shop will open its first United States location in San Francisco. Born in Hokkaido, Japan, BAKE Cheese Tart is a unique pastry that marries a crisp cookie crust with a velvety smooth cheese filling made from three different cheeses. BAKE will kick off grand opening weekend with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 12:00 PM, continuing its celebration through Saturday, May 5. Promotional freebies will be given out on both days: The first 50 customers in line will receive $10 BAKE gift cards and the next 150 customers will receive BAKE tote bags.

BAKE Cheese Tarts are made from original blend of cream cheese with a well-balanced creaminess and refreshing tartness, and finely-tuned to perfection with a hint of salt. The secret to BAKE’s crispy tart crust is its original blend of flour and “double-bake” baking method. Each crust is baked once and then baked one more time upon adding in the cheese mousse filling.

An artisan dessert, BAKE Cheese Tarts can be eaten fresh from the store, at room temperature, cold (refrigerated for a denser texture like cheese cake), frozen for an ice cake style treat or warmed in the oven. BAKE will offer original and limited edition chocolate flavor cheese tarts for the grand opening and will occasionally feature additional flavors that are also limited such as honey lemon.
