SysOpen Digia to release QualityKit 4.0

16.10.2006 - SysOpen Digia Plc announced today the release of QualityKit 4.0, a solution for enabling automated testing in Symbian environment throughout the entire project development.

QualityKit is a widely used, market proven solution which increases project productivity. With the introduction of this new version, the productivity gains are further enhanced, during all stages of testing. The main productivity gain for developers is that they now can automatically generate branch coverage test cases, on top of automated empty test case and test skeleton creation.

This automated branch coverage test case creation is a rapid and powerful way to automatically create test cases. It generates the test case based on the conditions and branch coverage of the code under test. This results in creating test cases that permits users to automatically get some code coverage with no efforts.

QualityKit 4.0 is also enhancing test engineers productivity test case creation is made by a graphical interface, increasing the speed of test case creation, while reducing the maintenance load.

In addition to these productivity gains, QualityKit 4.0 has been designed to fit with modern smartphone project development processes, such as Test Driven Development and Agile Methodology. This allows QualityKit to be fully embedded in project process development, including nightly or regular build process, and to provide real time metrics for increasing project controllability. This controllability further enables fact-based risk management, greatly improving project visibility.
