Sharegate Releases Enhanced Inventory Details & New Diagnostic Mode
Sharegate has just released a brand new feature called Diagnostic Mode, that will make users’ lives much easier when contacting Sharegate Support. They’ve also upgraded their SharePoint, Office 365 and File Share migration Inventory tool.
With this new update to our Inventory feature, users now have, among other things, a detailed list of all their workflows in a given SharePoint or Office 365 environment. They’ll be able to view how many workflows they have, what type they are, Nintex and SharePoint included, and where they’re located within the environment. An industry first!
Sharegate, the Office 365 & SharePoint management tool, known in information technology circles for its simplicity and user-friendliness, has just released a brand new feature called Diagnostic Mode, that will make users’ lives much easier when contacting Sharegate Support. They’ve also upgraded their SharePoint, Office 365 and File Share migration Inventory tool.
The Inventory feature is a tool that allows users to view the complete details of their SharePoint, Office 365 or file share inventory, giving them access to essential information they’ll need to successfully run a migration.
With the newest addition of exportable Inventory details for SharePoint and Office 365, as well as File Shares, users now have access to a detailed list of clickable errors and warnings with tips on how to resolve them. Another great addition is the possibility to inventory all Nintex and SharePoint workflows within a given environment, which would also include details for each of the workflows. With this new feature, users can use the Inventory tool for an even better estimation of the effort required for a migration, and to fix the most common issues before they occur.
When users experience problems during their migration, the new Diagnostic Mode permits users to reproduce the error and send a diagnostic report directly to Support. This gives them the ability to see exactly when, where, and why something is going wrong. The support team can then look at the data and contact the user with concrete information on how to fix the issue.
This month’s release is again in response to some of the most requested features.
