Universal Electronics’ NevoSL Extends Reach with Distribution Agreement with Digital Delivery Group

DDG to distribute NevoSL handheld control to custom electronics professionals

CYPRESS, CA. September 14, 2006 — Universal Electronics Inc. (UEI) (NASDAQ:UEIC) today announced that Digital Delivery Group (DDG) has agreed to distribute the award-winning NevoSL universal controller. The new distribution relationship broadens the reach and availability of NevoSL and related accessories to the professional custom electronics installation market (CEDIA).

Digital Delivery Group is a consortium of 16 specialty distributors dedicated to helping manufacturers and custom installation professionals provide the latest in fully integrated audio, video, networking and home automation systems to consumers. NevoSL, with its recently released NevoStudio 2.0 software suite, benefits the professional custom installer by allowing for faster, easier programming, as well as simplified post-installation service and support.
