Denver Homebuilder Partnership, Berkeley Homes/Harvard Communities, Grand Opens New Model Home in Lowry’s Boulevard One Neighborhood

Adding to their repertoire of well-designed, energy efficient new homes in the Denver area’s most desirable neighborhoods, Denver-based homebuilding partnership, Berkeley Homes/Harvard Communities recently unveiled the first completed model home in Lowry’s last residential area, Boulevard One.

The two-story, 3-bedroom model introduces Berkeley/Harvard’s Avenues Collection, one of two new home collections in the last residential enclave to be built in Denver’s popular Lowry community.  Known for their award-winning innovations in new urban, energy-efficient designs, Berkeley/Harvard sold 11 homes ahead of the model grand opening, and 16 total since the model opened, or nearly half of the 34 lots available.

Once an annex near one of the former Lowry Air Force Base’s runways, Boulevard One is tucked thoughtfully between Crestmoor Park and Lowry’s lively Town Center, just south of E. First Avenue and Magnolia. Avenues Collection homes – priced from the $700s and ranging between 2,100 and 2,800 square feet – blend classic architecture with innovative design and leading-edge energy efficient technology. “We took a lot of time and care in crafting these new homes especially for Boulevard One at Lowry.  We’re excited to see that buyers are loving them as much as we do,” said Berkeley (CEO), Rich Laws.

Additionally, Berkeley/Harvard is introducing its Park Collection at Boulevard One, which features ranch and two-story homes priced from the $900s to 1million+ and ranging in size from 2,400 to 3,300 square feet.  Park Collection homes boast lovely park-front views, elegant outdoor living spaces, innovative entertainment areas and generous master suites.

Both collections put energy efficient design at the forefront. Avenues and Park Collection homes feature tankless water heating, staged-and-zoned HVAC systems, new-tech windows and insulation that is expected to deliver HERS scores below 40s, which is 150 percent better than a code-built new home.  Each home will also receive three KW of solar electric, in a leased arrangement with Solar City. Ranch plans include main-floor master suites. Abundant basement options and upgrades are also available.
