QUALCOMM Announces Winners of the Fourth Annual 3G A-List Awards

Public, Private and Non-Profit Organizations Honored for Innovative Wireless Mobility Implementations Based on 3G CDMA Standards

SAN DIEGO — September 13, 2006 — QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), a leading developer and innovator of Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) and other advanced wireless technologies, today announced the winners of the fourth annual 3G A-List Awards, which recognize innovative and successful commercially deployed enterprise wireless data solutions based on 3G CDMA standards. QUALCOMM received nominations from a number of deserving companies, public agencies and non-profit organizations. After narrowing the list down to 22 finalists, the judges selected 12 winners that have creatively deployed 3G CDMA technologies.

Hosted by QUALCOMM, the 3G A-List Awards program honors mobility at work by showcasing organizations that have successfully illustrated the benefits of what 3G CDMA can offer in terms of increasing productivity and customer satisfaction. This year, five new “best of/innovation” awards were introduced, including International Pioneer, Business Innovation, Technical Innovation, Embedded Deployment and Best of Show. In addition, a new category for groundbreaking implementations using UMTS/HSDPA was awarded.
