The event brought together more than 200 distinguished guests across multiple industries and from as far away as Asia, Australia, and Europe. During the two-day Summit, speakers weighed in on some of the biggest business challenges they face and how to capitalize on the pace of change affecting all large enterprises. Keynote speakers included Heather Cox, Chief Client Experience, Digital and Marketing Officer at Citi, and Doug Schmitt, VP of Global Support and Deployment at Dell, along with other senior executives from Amgen, GE, MetLife, Microsoft, Suncorp, Walgreens, and Walmart.

“It’s an honor to host such an esteemed group of leaders from some of the world’s most respected companies,” said Dhiraj Rajaram, Founder and CEO of Mu Sigma. ”A common thread that we all share is the increasing pace of change facing our businesses, and the growing complexity that results. We designed our summit so that attendees can both appreciate their victories and learn from mistakes, thus getting on the path toward organizational consciousness, which will help businesses not only to survive immediate threats but thrive over the long term"

Some of the topics discussed at this year’s event included how to:

  • Tap organizational consciousness and understand the interconnected nature of business problems
  • Establish learning organizations built on growth mindsets
  • Apply interdisciplinary perspectives in problem solving
  • Harmonize both the scale and diversity of problem solving efforts
  • Allow for more inefficiency and experimentation to fuel innovation
  • Embrace the inherent complexity of business rather than try to simplify it
  • Use design thinking to shape our work in big data analytics

The Summit included a mix of Mu Sigma and client speeches, interactive panel discussions, videos, interactive polls, and an opportunity for attendees to get hands on in Mu Sigma learning rooms. Attendees also had an opportunity to network and enjoy an evening dinner reception at Chihuly Garden & Glass.
