The AJC Decatur Book Festival is fast approaching. The big event will gather authors, publishers, booksellers, marketers, and other publishing industry professionals, as well as thousands of book enthusiasts who are eager to explore the works of world-class independent authors.

Author Dr. Rosalie H. Contino will have two of her books, Born to Create (published in 2007) and Bob: As Life Goes On (published in 2013), showcased during the event. It will be displayed and sold by LitFire Publishing, a self-publishing company and provider of marketing services and author resources.

Born to Create is an autobiography that accounts Contino’s transition from being a successful English teacher to chasing her passion in the arts at the age of 40. In the book, she details how she came to a bold decision to pursue her passion to create.

Bob: As Life Goes On tells the story of how Contino dealt with her sixty-one-year-old brother, Bob, who was diagnosed with schizophrenia. According to Kirkus Reviews, “As Bob’s sister and caregiver, Contino saw a side of the disease few people understand.”

To those who are interested to grab a copy of Contino’s books, these will be available in LitFire’s booth at the AJC Decatur Book Festival. The event will run from September 4 to 6 of 2015 and will be held at the Decatur Square, Georgia.
