Blue Star Recyclers Launches Computer Refurbishment Partnership

Blue Star Recyclers, a Colorado-based recycler of electronic waste, launched a new partnership with PCs for People expanding its capabilities to refurbishment and repair. Refurbished computers are provided to qualifying low-income people at very low cost. The partnership will help create additional jobs for people with autism and other disabilities.

DENVER (August 18, 2015) – Blue Star Recyclers (http://www.bluestarrecyclers.com) a Colorado-based recycler of electronic waste, today launched a new partnership with PCs for People (http://www.pcsforpeople.org).  The partnership expands Blue Star Recycler’s recycling capabilities to refurbishment and repair.  Computers refurbished by the PCs for People team are distributed at low cost to qualified low-income people.

The new partnership will operate at the Blue Star Recyclers facility at 953 Decatur in Denver. People interested in recycling or donating computers may call 303-534-1667 or come to the Decatur location Tuesday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm or Saturday, 9 am to 1 pm

People wishing to acquire low-cost refurbished computers may come to the Blue Star facility on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 1 pm and 7 pm.  To see if your family or organization qualifies as low income, visit the PCs for People website at http://www.pcsforpeople.org.
