Logic PD Hires Ankur Tandon as Director of Software Engineering

Logic PD, a product innovation and realization company for connected devices, announced today that Ankur Tandon is the company’s newly appointed Director of Software Engineering. In this role, Tandon will lead the company’s Software Engineering team and oversee all aspects of software development with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.

In this leadership role at Logic PD, Tandon is responsible for resource management, sales support, proposal support, software engineering, thought leadership and strategic projects for the Software Engineering team. He will report to Mona Phaff, vice president of design and engineering.

Tandon joins Logic PD from Beckman Coulter, a manufacturer of in-vitro diagnostic systems and laboratory instruments. While there, he led a global team of 26 engineers to develop major level of concern medical device software utilizing best practices to improve the quality and on time delivery of the software.

A resident of Prior Lake, Minn., Tandon earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Iowa State University and is currently pursuing an M.B.A. at University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
