CRN Awards Atrion an Elite Spot on its Annual List of Managed Service Provider Leaders

Warwick, R.I. – WEBWIRE

With the global managed service provider space becoming increasingly competitive, making market impact requires companies to have clear vision and intended purpose. CRN recently recognized Atrion for such commitment, awarding the company an Elite 150 spot on its 2015 Managed Service Provider 500 (MSP500) list.

The MSP500 annual listing recognizes leading technology providers and consultants in North America that are committed to offering best-in-class managed services to enable their end user customers to improve efficiencies, cut costs and speed time to market for their own products and services.

“We are incredibly humbled and honored to be placed on CRN’s MSP500 list,” Atrion CEO Tim Hebert said. “This accolade serves as third-party validation that our commitment to fusing technology with business to enable our clients to achieve profitable business outcomes is well-understood.”

“But our client work is never done,” added Hebert. “Since our inception, we have prioritized spending ample time with our clients to understand their businesses and unique pain points so we can better serve them. We remain steadfast in our commitment to be a high-touch, high-impact organization that embraces a consultative approach to supporting our clients.”

Atrion started its managed services operations in May of 1996, serving mid-market clients headquartered in New England with remote offices around the world. For almost two decades these services have evolved from simple circuit and device monitoring and management to a robust suite of services. Today, Atrion offers everything from simple device management to complete IT outsourcing.

The company’s signature support service, maxtime™, is designed to support its clients’ IT dilemmas by providing custom support and management across their IT stacks, 24/7/36. The service runs critical technology infrastructure including: Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, NetApp, BlueCoat, HP, Aruba, F5 and more.

CRN’s MSP500 list is broken down into three groups: MSP Elite 150, or large data-center-focused solution providers that boast a healthy mix of off- and on-premises professional services; the MSP Pioneer 250, or those companies that have a business model heavily weighted toward managed services focused on the small and midsized business market; and the MSP Hosting 100, or companies that own and operate their own data centers, providing a wide array of subscription-based outsourced services.

The complete list of 2015 MSP500 companies was published in the February print issue of CRN magazine.
