Savings.com® and Inmar® Announce Strategic Relationship to Exponentially Expand CPG Offers

Inmar’s online promotion platform will enable Savings.com to offer shoppers hundreds of manufacturer coupons while providing a host of cross-promotion opportunities for brands

LOS ANGELES, CA. – WEBWIRE

Savings.com, a leading coupon and deal community with more than 50,000 active deals, announced today a strategic relationship with Inmar Digital Promotions Network, Inc., a subsidiary of Inmar, Inc., the nation’s largest processor of digital coupons. This partnership will not only bring hundreds of new print-at-home coupons and load-to-card offers to Savings.com and its partner network, but it will also provide consumer packaged goods (CPG) manufacturers with enhanced online marketing and consumer engagement opportunities.

The partnership will leverage the companies’ respective marketing and technology platforms to cross-promote offers from CPGs, helping brands build awareness, drive sales and improve shopper engagement. Participating brands will recognize additional benefits including efficient distribution of promotions at scale, improved targeting of offers and access to diversified digital platforms for consumer engagement through multiple social and mobile channels.

“Inmar is the ideal partner to help Savings.com execute this enhancement to its service for shoppers and marketers, alike,” says Craig O’Neill, Head of Sales for Cox Target Media. Cox Target Media, which owns and operates Valpak, acquired Savings.com in 2012 to form the leading digital and direct marketing company in the country. “Inmar’s experience and expertise in connecting consumers with CPGs, through both coupons and content, is going to be critical as we work with them to simultaneously expand the shopper experience on Savings.com and to deliver superior marketing support to client brands,” adds O’Neill.

Inmar, with more than 34 years’ experience in promotions, offers brands a robust suite of digital promotion solutions, including print-at home, load-to-card (L2C) and targeted emails for personally engaging consumers through traditional retailer-enabled channels as well across owned, paid and social media. Working with Inmar, brands can employ digital promotions that pair equity-building content with motivating promotional offers to build loyalty, encourage advocacy, grow revenue and increase market share.

“The Savings.com team shares our vision of helping brands drive sales through engagement,” says David Mounts, Chairman and CEO of Inmar. “They have an expansive array of digital marketing assets that enable brands to effectively and cost-efficiently promote at scale, as well as positively affect brand loyalty. At the same time, we have been very impressed with the company’s ability to help clients realize coupon redemption rates that exceed industry averages,” adds Mounts.

Savings.com and Cox Target Media are also announcing a new, summertime BBQ-themed program for advertisers that will leverage these new cross-promotional opportunities. The Custom Free-Standing Insert (CSFI) will feature recipe and entertaining ideas alongside relevant product promotions and manufacturer coupons. The CFSI will reach 10 million targeted homes through the Valpak envelope in May and will receive digital distribution via Savings.com and other elements of the Inmar Media Network.
