About The Author: Gino Barbaro has owned Gino’s Trattoria in Mahopac, NY since 1994 with his family. Prior to owning Gino’s, he could be found working at his father’s restaurant “Pizza Beat” in Yonkers, NY from the age of 8. He eventually graduated from washing dishes to running his own kitchen with the guidance of his father. Gino lives in Mahopac with his wife Julia and their five children, Gabriella, Michael, Sofia, Veronica, and Cecilia, along with his organic garden and flock of 30 chickens.
