Feeding America San Diego Partners With foodtweeks™ To Help End Hunger

foodtweeks ™, a free app that combines healthy choices with feeding the hungry, today announced that  Feeding America San Diego , the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County, California has joined the ranks of foodtweeks™-affiliated hunger-relief organizations. foodtweeks™ makes it possible for health-conscious consumers to be “heroes” who serve their communities by feeding the hungry while cutting calories from their foods in a quick and easy way.

Each time a foodtweeks™ user reports “tweeking” ;(cutting calories from their food), they have the opportunity to choose an organization like Feeding America San Diego to receive donations from foodtweeks™, enabling the organization to distribute an equal number of nutritious calories to hungry families. Posting a “tweek“ on Facebook or Twitter doubles or triples each donation.
