AAXA Technologies announces the AAXA M4 - World’s Brightest Battery Powered Projector. The AAXA M4 revolutionizes mobile projection by mating a lithium ion battery with LED Projection technology. The result is a self-powered projector capable of delivering large format presentations. Built for today’s mobile professional the M4 delivers unparalleled performance both plugged in or on battery power. With its third generation optical system the AAXA M4 delivers a brilliant 800 Lumens* of brightness. It is powered by 20,000 Hour Vibrant Color LEDs, Texas Instruments DLP, and features a native HD resolution of 1280x800 (WXGA). This optical power house enables the M4 to deliver vibrant 150" displays in dark areas and usable displays in brightly lit areas - a first for mobile projection.

The Mobile Revolution

The AAXA M4 joins the mobile revolution through its onboard lithium ion battery and enables anywhere-anytime projection. Powering this system is a robust 28-watt lithium ion battery - which supports a 90 minute operating time (in eco brightness mode) and produces over 3 times the brightness of other battery powered projectors. High brightness and unlimited operation is available by plugging-in through the included high efficiency AC power adapter.
All-In-One Powerhouse

The AAXA M4 is the ultimate portable projector for business and professional users. It is an all-in-one projection solution that includes an onboard media player, digital picture playback, a digital TV tuner (North America ATSC only, antenna required), and an array of inputs including Composite, HDMI, and VGA. The powerful onboard media player decodes files directly off a USB Stick or MicroSD Card and is capable of handling high resolution videos, movies, and high megapixel pictures. This feature allows users to leave the laptop and power cords at home and deliver presentations and videos directly from the projector while fully cordless. The DTV function allows users to watch broadcast TV and to never miss a favorite game or a news announcement. The DTV function also decodes analog cable television enabling the M4 to double as a compact TV Tuner. Finally, the array of inputs includes HDMI, VGA, and Composite video and enables users to connect an array of data sources including smartphones directly to the projector**. With the AAXA M4, professional users can deliver presentations, play videos, and watch digital TV all from a single self-powered device.

About AAXA Technologies

AAXA Technologies Inc was founded in 2008 as a developer and manufacturer of a new class of projector known as “micro” projectors and “pico” projectors. AAXA’s core technology is based on small LCoS (Liquid Crystal on Silicon) and DLP (Digital Light Processing) imagers mated to LED (light emitting diode) and Laser light-sources that makes micro projectors and pico sized projectors possible. In 2010 AAXA launched the world’s first laser pico projector and today remains a leader in mini-projector technology. AAXA holds several patents in optical and LCoS designs and manufactures the majority of its products in China, with core technological development occurring in both the Silicon Valley, California and China.

*The AAXA M4 works best in dim lighting environments but is the first portable projector capable of delivering a brilliant 80” display in most professional environments on battery power and 150” displays with plug-in power. Battery power operates in “economy” mode only. An external antenna or analog cable service is required for DTV reception.

**Special data cables may be required for some phones. Some devices may require special adapters. Check to ensure your smart-phone allows video output.
