Logic PD Teams with Aurora WDC to Present a Webinar on the Next Evolution of the Strategy Canvas

Logic PDs Vice President of Marketing, Jason Voiovich, and Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Scott Nelson will be teaming up with Aurora WDC, a leading advisory firm in intelligence and analytics, to present a webinar on a newly adapted Strategy Canvas tool. The tool goes beyond the business strategy visualization to provide a prescriptive map of your value chain.

From the origins of HBRs original Strategy Canvas of understanding differentiation in their industry by plotting competition, to the Blue Ocean adaptation of categorizing competitive factors to make actionable decisions, Logic PD has adapted the Strategy Canvas to allow companies to plot their value chain in a prescriptive format that communicates the why of a companys value. This new tool plots the value chain with a user perspective in sequence allowing companies to focus on where the value is delivered at the edges, or the beginning and the end of the process, and therefore is where companies should focus.

About the Speakers

As Vice President of Marketing, Jason Voiovich is responsible for aligning Logic PDs products and services with market needs. Jason has more than 15 years of experience in marketing intelligence and research, specializing in competitive intelligence, new venture strategy, brand valuation and business modeling. Prior to joining Logic PD in 2012, Jason founded Ecra Creative Group, a Minneapolis-based marketing intelligence and brand development agency. His clients included Target Corp, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Guidant (Boston Scientific), and Michael Foods along with dozens of start-ups and mid-sized firms. Jason also acts as an advisor to the University of Wisconsin Eau Claires Entrepreneur Program and serves on its Communication and Journalism curriculum review committee. Jason received his B.S. in Communications from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire, his M.A. in Strategic Communications from the University of Minnesota, and Executive Education in data analytics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

As Senior Vice President of Business Growth and Chief Technology Officer, Dr. Scott Nelson is responsible for leveraging Logic PDs technology expertise and offerings across a wide range of markets with a focus on connected solutions and the Internet of Things (IoT). Scott has nearly 25 years of experience leading technology and product development. Prior to joining Logic PD in 2000, Scott worked for 3M and Honeywell. He holds a Ph.D. in applied and engineering physics from Cornell University, a doctoral minor in business administration from the Samuel Johnson School of Management at Cornell University, and a B.A. degree in physics and mathematics from St. Olaf College.
