Following the success of last year’s event, First Capital Cashflow are delighted to confirm they will be presenting at, and sponsoring, this year’s Sage User Network Conference in Blackpool on 11th November.

The Sage User Network is an independent International body which represents the users of all Sage products. The group was originally formed to keep Sage users informed, exchange ideas, needs, criticisms and suggestions with the authors of the software.

First Capital Cashflow’s Sales Director, Paul Simpson, explained his excitement for the event, ‘The Sage user base is one of our strongest user bases and we are extremely pleased to have been selected to work in conjunction with the Sage Network User Conference with our Direct Debit capability.”

The annual Conference is the UK’s only independent event where members can network with other users of the systems and learn about the complementary products available to improve their business systems.

This year’s conference will be held at De Vere’s Heron’s Reach Hotel in Blackpool and will be well attended by members from throughout the UK and Europe, as well as representatives from Sage who will be on hand to talk to directly.

In addition there will be user presentations and an exhibition area showcasing complementary products for all Sage systems. For the first time all presentations will be repeated this year, giving delegates the opportunity to attend every session.

First Capital Cashflow have also been invited to present at the conference, Paul explains; “We will be participating in the event by hosting a short 20 minute presentation for anyone interested in streamlining their own Direct Debit collection processes. Paul will also talk about FCC’s Facilities Management service that gives organisations the opportunity to collect payments via Direct Debit if they cannot obtain a Service User Number (SUN) from their bank.”

Paul has extensive experience when it comes to presenting on payments, having hosted discussions at conferences and exhibitions across the UK for over 20 years as a guest speaker and Subject Matter Expert for the Direct Debit sector, and is relishing the chance to address such a collection of Industry stakeholders.

Last year’s event was described as, “As usual, a very well organised event and a trip well worth it for the networking and social aspects.” Whilst this year’s attendance is expected to be even greater, meaning there will be a huge networking opportunity for those in the industry.

Sage User Network Operations Director, Nicole James, said of this year’s event, ‘We’re hugely excited for members to join us for the event and be able to make new business connections within the Sage community, discuss current product issues to find solutions and learn about new useful applications for Sage.’

First Capital Cashflow, established in 2001, is a Bacs approved bureau specialising in outsourced, cloud-based online sign up and API integrated direct debit, as well as Bacs processing solutions for banks, start-ups and SME, through to the corporate, financial institutes, public sector, NFP and clubs.
