Winners of the 2013 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards for Outstanding Achievement by Communications Agencies and Professionals Have Been Announced

Oakland, CA - (NewMediaWire) - August 09, 2013 -  The 57 winners of the 2013 Bulldog Stars of PR Awards for Outstanding Achievement by Communications Agencies and Professionals were announced today by  Bulldog Reporter.  Winners enter a pantheon of exemplary communications practitioners, whose outstanding accomplishments will be summarized in the Bulldog Awards Stars of PR Hall of Fame magazine, which is to be published in September 2013.

Winners were chosen exclusively by working journalists from entries representing the highest levels of performance and inspiration that PR/corporate communications has to offer.  Entries were judged by a team of working journalists, who assessed the agencies and practitioners on the basis of their industry leadership, business acumen, communications,  creativity, command of media and technology, and credit to PR and corporate communications. 

This year’s Grand Prize: Communications Agency of the Year was awarded to Bateman Group, which also won two Gold Stars of PR Awards for Boutique Agency of the Year (Specialty Practice) and Small Agency of the Year – Under $5,000,000, as well as a Silver award for Technology Agency of the Year.  Judges were impressed not only with the agency’s achievements in the individual categories in which it won, but also with the firm’s strong commitment to its employees and its long term client relationships.

This year’s Grand Prize: Communications Professional of the Year was awarded to Michael Kempner, Founder, President, CEO with MWW, who also won a Gold Stars of PR award for Agency Professional of the Year. Judges especially noted Kempner’s implementation of digital strategies and his commitment to corporate social responsibility, which includes initiatives such as CommunityWorks and Group Green. Kempner’s firm, MWW, also won Gold awards for Midsize Agency of the Year – Under $50,000,000 and Digital Agency of the Year,  in addition to a Silver award for Crisis Agency of the Year.
