Blue Mountain Publishing brings together local writers in a team to create a series of books over the next year. In November of 2012 Blue Mountain Publishing advertised a collaborative writing program for local writers to co-author books that would be published by Blue Mountain Publishing and allow profit sharing among writers.

Glen Barnhardt CEO of Blue Mountain Publishing said,

“I was shocked at the response I got from the local advertisement. I was only looking for a few writers and after just one day had to take down the advertisement. A total of 43 writers applied to be part of the program. It was a big surprise to find so many talented writers in such a small town.”

The Awakening of Sebastian Ellis the first book to be released from this program is the first in a series of Kindle books that will continue the story for many more episodes. Written by the Blue Mountain Publishing Team of Heidi Bartholomew, Jeff Belyea, and Steve Barnett the story is set several years after the Mayan Calendar expires. Sebastian Ellis an Artist finds that he has received a new sense of awareness that links him to the others in the story. They all have visions that draw them to each other. The story continues with adventures as they seek to find each other.

The book is available on the Kindle Platform for free on January 9th, 10th, and 11th and can be downloaded here.

Glen Barnhardt of Blue Mountain Publishing said,

“I am so pleased with the results of this first book that I am working hard to expand my staff so I can extend this to more writers locally and throughout the United States.”

Blue Mountain Publishing is setting a goal to make it easy for writers to write to get their books published with no out of pocket expense. The company does all the technical and marketing work and leaves the writing to the writers.
