GUADALAJARA, MEXICO - November 29, 2012 (OUT NOW) -- Latin America’s leading business events and conference company targeting one of the region’s increasingly visible and fastest growing group of consumers - the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) consumer market - today announced the addition of two new events to its 2013 program. 

LGBT Confex has previously been responsible for producing the region’s leading LGBT business forum event - the International LGBT Business Expo - attracting brands of the likes of American Express, IBM and American Airlines.

In 2013 the company adds two new travel related initiatives - the launch of the International LGBT Travel Show and the marketing of a dedicated LGBT exhibition space at the inaugural World Travel Market Latin America to be branded ’Out Now Business Class at WTM’.

The International LGBT Travel Show will run in Guadalajara, Mexico during the last two days of the International LGBT Business Expo - and both events are taking place in that city’s premier hotel conference facilities at RIU Hotel, Guadalajara in September 2013. 

The Business Expo focuses on business-to-business connections with particular emphasis on LGBT consumer target marketing as well as new emphasis in 2013 on workplace diversity and inclusion issues faced by LGBT employees at work. Industries to be featured include alcohol, automotive, technology, banking, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals. 

The Travel Show delivers targeted content specific to the needs of the global tourism industry - including world-class education workshops and conferences. The event also includes exhibitor spaces for tourism businesses to connect - as well as reach LGBT consumers directly.

The most recent tourism spend data released earlier this month in London at World Travel Market by Out Now - the leading international LGBT market consulting firm - shows that, in 2013, LGBT consumers in the most important global markets will spend more than USD$181 billion on leisure travel.

International LGBT Business Expo runs from September 5 - 7, 2013 and the International LGBT Travel Show runs from September 6 - 7, 2013 and also includes a special consumer expo public event on its closing day.
