JD Edwards Experts to Speak at Oracle User Group JD Edwards Conference in Reading

LONDON, Nov. 12, 2012 -- InsightSoftware.com (Insight), the developers of innovative solutions that ensure efficient reporting, budgeting and reconciliation with Oracle E-Business Suite and JD Edwards ERP solutions, will present three individual sessions at the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG) JD Edwards conference taking place 13 – 14 November at the Madejski Stadium in Reading.
 
Insight’s sessions are designed to provide pragmatic best practices in budgeting and reporting using a blend of real customer experiences and deep JD Edwards expertise. In addition, two Insight customer stories will highlight these real-world challenges, approaches, and results using Insight solutions, giving attendees a chance to learn about best practices peer-to-peer.
 
The first session will take place on 13 November at 10:50 a.m. with Lewis Hopkins, Technical Manager for Q Software and a board member of the UKOUG Governance Risk and Compliance group. Entitled Financial and Security Reporting the Easy Way: A Case Study of Bibby Distribution, their presentation will share how Bibby improved its reporting and its understanding of key configurations and transactions in JD Edwards, particularly as it relates to security and financing.
 
John Brooks, Director at Insight, will deliver the next session at 10:25 a.m. on 14 November. The session is called Hassle-Free Budgeting: Enjoy the Return on Your ERP Investment. In this session, attendees will learn how to cut the budgeting timeframe and make the process simple, efficient and quick.
 
John Brooks will also deliver the third session, along with Vip Sharma, Project Manager of Finance Systems at William Hill. The session is called Reaching the Parts that JDE and Business Intelligence Fails to Reach, and it will take place on 14 November at 12:20 p.m. In this discussion, attendees will hear from both Insight and William Hill about how they implemented Smart Finance strategies and found a new way to deliver on their promises to the business.
