KODAK DIGIMASTER E125 System Receives Editor’s Choice Award from Leading Independent Authority on Document Imaging Equipment

Editors impressed with system’s quality, performance and value

Rochester, NY, June 29 -- The KODAK DIGIMASTER E125 digital production system is “an impressive on demand printer that has great appeal for high volume print providers,” according to the nation’s leading independent authority on document imaging equipment. Better Buys for Business named the DIGIMASTER E125 system an Editor’s Choice in its annual review of digital printers.

Better Buys for Business evaluates hundreds of models of copiers, printers, faxes and scanners from all major manufacturers when selecting award recipients, but only one or two from each category achieve Editor’s Choice status, a designation for those products that provide the best performance and represent the best value.

The KODAK DIGIMASTER E125 digital production system, with a resolution of 600 x 600 dpi, employs a small particle developer and enhanced imaging technology to deliver high quality documents with sharp text, crisp halftones and rich graphics. Featuring rapid image processing and a print speed of 125 pages per minute, the DIGIMASTER E125 system is a highly productive press that supports a duty cycle of 2.5 million to 4.25 million impressions per month.

Better Buys for Business also highlights the remote Internet interface as “a notable feature” on the DIGIMASTER E125 production system. Users can employ Remote Access to remotely submit, monitor, retrieve/print and overall manage the print job status of the submitted jobs as they flow through the print queue of the DIGIMASTER system. This allows users to efficiently manage their operations and verify with their clients the print request.
